Mischievous’ woman released on probation

SHAH ALAM: A 26-year-old woman’s “mischievous” antics of stealing make-up products landed her in trouble when she was caught red-handed.

With her sharp features, Ida Idura Abdul Samad does not seem to need the products. Nor was she too poor to afford them.

Yet, the customer service officer with Astro stole two L’Oreal and Revlon blushers, a Maybeline mascara and two eye liners amounting to RM165.50.

She pleaded guilty at the magistrate’s court yesterday to committing the offence at Guardian Pharmacy in the Giant Supermarket, Section 13, here, between 1pm and 3.30pm on Aug 7.

Fortunately for Ida Idura, magistrate Hafizah Abdul Rajak bound her over in the sum of RM2,000 on good behaviour for three years.
